i'm borderline

Mon Jun 22, 2009, 11:52 PM
hello watchers.

bake sale number 1 is fast approaching.
it's on june 27th, this saturday.
i've been in steady preparation, posting flyers, getting signs and prices set up.
all that's left to do is 3 days of baking starting wednesday.
saturday will be left for preparation, as my sale doesn't start until 12 pm, leaving a couple of hours to set up everything.

i passed 11th grade
i got my report card and the cover letter told me i advanced to the next and final high school grade level.
12th grade.
i'm officially a senior.
:w00t!: i suppose, lol.
i passed 11th grade wil ALL A's and a 96.?? grade average.
i am quite pleased.

i'm close to taking my permit test
i'm almost done with my drivers manual.
i'm anticipating driving in the next couple of weeks.

what a busy summer...

my collection of cameras is worthless.
did some research and the vintage cameras i possess are worth 25-54 dollars or so.
i have accumulated:
polaroid land camera model 800
kodak vigilant six-20 (takes 620 film, could use 120 but clearly tells you NOT to use 120 film)
argus lumar 75 mm (takes 620, or 120 film, complicated procedures for using 120 on a 620 spool...)
polaroid sun 600 (share the love. but i have no money :( )
so all of these cameras will be used for collectors and decorative purposes. that is fine with me... kinda...

fast approaching 2 years and 7 months with my boyfriend
anniversary june 29th.
:aww:

i am accepting donations for Share Our Strength
strength.org to learn more about how this organization is helping to end childhood hunger in America.
it's what i'm doing 4 bake sales for :D
please send me a note for more details on how you can donate online.

my mother bought me a kitchen aid food processor
i've been asking for one for ages.
now i have to grow basil.
can't wait to make home-made pestos!
44 or so dollars on qvc.com :D :D :D

that's all for now
buy my prints... please...

hello.

i've been working hard, putting my camera to work and i've created a couple new diptychs, Two Ways Out and Two Sides to Everything.
check them out and give them some attention.
i think Two Sides... needs some work. maybe something added to it.
I tried texture and it wasn't working. I thought about bokeh lights in the darkness but that wasn't working either.
any suggestions?? [link]

my boyfriend it turning 20 next month.
we've been together 2 and a half years and he still hasn't proposed yet.
gahhh.
i'm about to propose to him myself.

i've figured out where i'm going to college.
i'm going to pierce college in philly BUT i don't have to go to campus to take their courses.
i can do it all online and that's what I plan to do.
i'm going under information technology and getting an associates in Desktop Applications for Businesses and a certificate in .NET programming or something of that nature. i'll work off of an assiciates and keep going to school to get my bachelors.
i have to pay off about 12,000 or a bit more per year to go there but that's no too bad since my boyfriend and i will be making good money.

i have tons of prints up for sale and i have made NO money.
i guess my work isn't that good...

that's all for now.
this update sucked.

Prints/New Camera update

Sat May 16, 2009, 10:13 AM
hello all.

I have submitted some new works of mine.
all of them are prints too so feel free to check them out and buy if you can :]
also, spread the word and let other people know about my prints if you really like my work :D

an OMG moment
so a few days ago I went to this antique/second and store and saw the (second) love of my life... a polaroid land camera model 800.
25 bucks and it's mine. my pride and joy. my first vintage camera.
i will be aquiring another vintage camera soon, my aunts boyfriend collects antiques and he said he had a few old cameras and that he'd give me one :XD:
i want folm for it but i don't really know what to get.
i've done a little research and think a certain type of fujifilm instant film will work.
but should iget color or b&w. do i have to do something special to the b&w like my camera says?

but yeah, my pola is sitting on my desk above me for all the world to see.
i hope it works because i'd love to take a few photos with it.

in other news
school is almost out. a few more weeks left and i'll be a senior.
i'm still having trouble finding a college and figuring out the career path i want to go down.
but i think i'm getting closer. i found two new options yesterday.
i'm learning to drive this summer and running 4 bake sales for my senior grad project for charity.
growing up sucks.

that's all for now.
buy my prints :]
